A friend of mine requested I draw Edward Cullen eating spiders. Look how excited he is!

On that note, went and saw Priest yesterday. SO EPIC. There's no namsy pansy sparkling douchebag vampires in that movie, only AWESOME, slimy, hideously horrifying vampires like what vampires SHOULD BE. The story is somewhat lacking, but the special effects, amazing CGI atmosphere and super cool costumes more than make up for it.


And speaking of super special awesome costumes?? (Nerdgasm alert) THOR. Augh again AHHMAZING visual effects, not to mention a VERY VERY SEXY Chris Hemsworth. *drools* (Thar be fanart next week). Basically I only went to see this movie because I loved Hemsworth as George Kirk in Star Trek, but he makes for a fantastic Norse god, too. Loved Loki's outfits, even though he kind of looked like a beetle at the end with his headgear. And I didn't realize until the very end that Anthony Hopkins was Odin! God I'm stupid, but I guess I just don't register these things unless he's hissing the name "Clarise".


Anyways, loved both, go see them.


Gotta find the graphic novels these two are based on!


Pirates 4 and Kung Fu Panda are next on the movie hit list. :D

Timmy Tulips

If Darth Maul and Spiderman had a baby, Timmy Tulips (as my friend and I have taken to calling him) would be that baby.

If you haven't seen "Insidious" yet, save yourself the six bucks and don't see it. It's a steaming pile of crap.

Want to save six bucks?? SPOILERZ: The only thing insidious about "Insidious" is the script and the acting!

 Basically it's about a pedophile demon (who looks strangely like Darth Maul with amazing Spiderman wall-climbing abilities) with really crappy music taste haunting a kid that looks like Justin Bieber.

Who knows, maybe Timmy really isn't insidiously evil but simply wishes to make friends, albeit doing it in an unconventional way. He's just so, so lonely.

He doesn't really wear tighty-whities in the movie, but I didn't feel like drawing demon junk. Also, I don't really know what demon junk would look like. ANYWHOOZ.

Got an acceptance letter from Cap today! Which is a really great surprise, because I was honestly expecting a "Please Try Again" with the portfolio I submitted (with missing pages, uggh). :/ BUT YAY! Now to decide whether to go or not. It comes down to how much money I will have saved up by then, I suppose. 

*EDIT* SO, apparently I was sent an email on the 28th saying I was good to go? WHY do I never check my email? It could have spared me a week of agonizing anticipation not to mention sheer panic when I opened that darned letter! (Seriously, I was panicking) :P

Whenever I'm subject to this atrocity of a "song", I imagine something like this....

What. Has. Happened. To. MUSIC??? OR TALENT??

You know, I'm not that picky when it comes to music. But this is one of the songs that ABSOLUTELY drives me bat-shit insane whenever I hear it. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! Terrible lyrics and terrible singing (or lack thereof, hello autotune)!

And the video? Don't even get me started! All I will say is 12 year olds have no business driving around in convertables and partying hardy like they show in the video. KIDS THESE DAYS.
