Augh, been so busy at work lately I haven't had time to get up to much. I'll try, for anyone who actually reads this and used to enjoy my "Door Doodles" at university, to do some old fashioned scribbly-comics soon!
But for now, I can only offer some old stuff, yet again! Sooner or later I'm going to run out. Witness my ill-planned attempt at some "How to Train Your Dragon" fanart (favorite movie ever!)

Doodles!
Haven't done anything prettyful lately, so here's some rough doodlies.
A character I've been developing for a while now. Still developing though!
Half of my desk! :D

Nekkid Beastie Time
Random character I doodled and decided to try colouring on Photoshop. My colouring still is crappy, but if I keep practicing ONE DAY I may be able to colour like Sarah Ellerton in Volume 5 of Inverloch!
[Hit for full size]
A not-so-b00bish version for the prudes. :P
Rough sketch from my sketchbook.
In other news, I am totally delighted to be feasting on Egg Nog and a Terry's Chocolate orange, even though it's only November.

I've been working on a picture lately but it's not quite finished yet... so I will have to share some OLD STUFF. (le gasp!) So yes, in the meantime, have this:
It's my first attempt at digital painting! It's pretty bad but it was really good practice, and I learned a lot from it. It was for a How to Train Your Dragon contest which I lost miserably. :P
Some progress shots to demonstrate my n00b! way of approaching this:
My friend (http://mushu036.livejournal.com/) and I talking on skype in the corner. It's fun to have company/encouragement/critiques while I do projects.
Working on some other things right now, which will hopefully be shared soon. :)

Lady Gaga and the Haircut of DOOM
It's a strange thing; I wake up in the mornings and I hardly ever remember my dreams. They can be vivid as hell but as soon as I wake up they're totally gone, flushed down the loo. Today, however, is an exception. I woke up, and boy, did I remember my dream.
I dreamed my mom, exasperated with the length of my hair (it's almost down to my butt again) sent me off to the local barber school to get my hair cut. I reluctantly go, and lo and behold, who should be the barber-in-training but Lady Gaga herself.
She asks me what I want done and I explain to her that I hate haircuts, and that I only want a few inches trimmed off. And, once I'm sitting in the barber chair with an apron on, I fall asleep.
After she is finished, I wake up.
And scream.
Lady Gaga has given me an ELECTRIC. BLUE. BOB.
I scream in horror. Lady Gaga says she thinks it looks fabulous. I give her my dirtiest possible look and march out the door. She chases after me, yelling, "Hey! You owe me $200!"
...Shweet Bajeezus, I think I need to lay of the painkillers before I go to bed.

Finally up and running...?
Muaaaahaahahahaaa. AUAAAH haha-HAAA-haaa-haaa. So that's, you know, coming along.
After a few months of procrastinating, excuses and various other forms of laziness, my promised doodle blog is up and running (sort-of-ish). Still playing with the backgrounds and formats until I find something I like.
I had my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and have been oozing around my house, stoner-like, tripped out on painkillers. For the past few days I've crawled out of bed to the kitchen, to the couch, to the kitchen and back to bed. Such are my amazingly interesting migration habits. But now that I'm feeling better and have all this free time, I might as well get this thang going!
This is supposed to be a sort of continuation of my "Door Doodles", which were crappy drawings on the outside whiteboard of my dorm room in University Residence last year. But alas, I no longer reside in a dorm with a public whiteboard with my curious and supportive neighbors, so I suppose this is the next best thing.
I'll try to update it at least once a week, my faithful friends, but I make no promises! I am a lazy bugger, after all. :P
Because this is a doodle-long blog, feel free to draw responses to my postings! The more doodles, the more fun! No singing, though, unfortunately. That's Dr. Horrible's job.
